Frequently Asked Questions

How long does a typical session take?

Most residences are photographed within 45–90 minutes, depending on the size of the home and the services selected. Larger or more architecturally detailed properties may require additional time to ensure every space is captured with care and precision.

Should the seller be present during the session?

For the most seamless experience and optimal results, we recommend the property be vacant during the photo session. This allows us to work efficiently and capture the home at its absolute best.

What is your cancellation policy?

We understand that schedules can change. We kindly ask that any cancellations or rescheduling requests be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment.

If access to the property is not available upon arrival, or if the home is not photo-ready, a $50 travel fee may apply to cover the photographer’s time.

What if the home is not fully prepared?

To maintain scheduling efficiency and image quality standards, the property should be fully photo-ready at the scheduled start time. Additional fees may apply if extended preparation or waiting time is required upon arrival.

Do you provide staging services?

We make subtle refinements as needed adjusting décor, aligning furnishings, and ensuring visual balance. However, full staging services are not included and should be arranged in advance if desired.

When will the images be delivered?

Final edited images are typically delivered within 24 hours, professionally enhanced and ready for immediate marketing use.

What if weather conditions are unfavorable?

We photograph rain or shine. It is the responsibility of the agent or homeowner to monitor the forecast and reschedule at least 24 hours in advance if desired.

Drone operations are not permitted in high winds, precipitation, or sub-freezing temperatures. If drone services are booked and conditions are unsafe for flight, we will complete all other scheduled services and remove the drone fee from your invoice.

Cloudy or overcast days do not require rescheduling. In fact, overcast conditions often provide ideal lighting by minimizing harsh shadows. Blue skies may be enhanced in post-production when appropriate.

Are garages included?

Garage interiors are photographed upon request.

Can personal items be removed or edited?

Upon request, select items such as family photographs may be subtly blurred. We recommend removing valuables prior to the session for privacy and security.

What areas do you serve?

We serve properties within 50 miles of Mentor, Ohio.
Locations between 50–100 miles from Mentor are subject to a $50 travel fee.

Can I use the photos on social media?

Absolutely. Images may be used for marketing the listing across MLS, print, and social media platforms. We kindly request that agents and collaborators provide photo credit by tagging @AaronKnightRealEstatePhoto on Instagram when possible.
